Location: Raleigh NC Area               

Duties and Responsibilities( Vary Upon Position and Company)  

Assist in preparing the construction site each day by organizing and coordinating needed materials, tools, and equipment
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Operate various types and sizes of heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, tractors, scrapers, loaders, and motor graders to excavate, move dirt, and grade job site
Follow company safety policies 
Operate equipment in an efficient manner and follow the instruction of on-site management
Follow equipment monitoring and maintenance, safety requirements
Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Perform manual labor tasks with hand tools as needed
Rough and Fine grading- Large Scale Excavation, Erosion Control, Stormwater control measures,  Grading, dredging, erosion repairs, pipe installation, SCM conversion, turf establishment, mowing, planting, invasive plant treatment or removal, etc.
Communicate effectively  and engage in activities, and meetings, with the Foreman, supervisor, and management team to ensure a safe and successful job completion
Monitor site activities to include productivity and safety practices

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma Preferred~ not Required
Minimum two (2) years of construction experience Preferred
Ability to receive written or oral instructions
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with office and field personnel
Must be committed to contributing to a team culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others
 Physical Requirements:

Performing physical activities relevant to a construction environment IE climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
Shifts may be based on construction needs and schedule 
Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
Must wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves,( provided for you!)  and safety-toed boots. Please let us know if you can’t provide the required safety boots) 
Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile.
Ability to enter the cab construction equipment that is 3.5 feet (or more) off the ground.
Able to safely operate the equipment (if authorized for that piece of equipment).
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
Ability  to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background checks
